At the KD facility in Yangon, Myanmar, the Lingbox micro electric cars production is in full swing.
Engineers from Jiangsu Jimai New Energy Vehicle Industry are working closely with local partners in the KD workshop. The second batch of Lingbox electric vehicles has arrived at the facility in KD (knock-down) form and are being assembled for early delivery to customers who have placed orders.
The local partner have over 20 years of experience in the imported vehicle assembly and sales industry. So, workers are highly skilled in assembling traditional fuel-powered vehicles. However, assembling electric vehicles is still a new challenge for them. Therefore, Jimai has dispatched engineers to provide technical and operational support on-site. The first batch of vehicles was imported under CBU form, no need to re-assembly. To support local manufacturing, Lingbox vehicles are now being shipped to Myanmar in KD form starting fsince the second batch.
Thanks to the government support that "zero import tariff to electric cars and spareparts", sales of EVs soars. After the first batch sold out quickly, local consummers who have placed orders are eagerly awaiting for their new cars. Compared to traditional fuel-powered vehicles, the Lingbox micro electric vehicles are easier to operate, more economical, and offer higher cost-effectiveness, affordable, providing a better choice for consumers, to most of people, the used fuel vehicles are overprice too high.
