Jiangsu Jimai New Energy Vehicle Industry Co., Ltd. has a total investment of over 5 billion yuan and covers an area of 1,050 mu. The design was carried out by the Planning and Design Institute of Tianjin Automotive Research Center in strict accordance with the technical conditions required for the research and development, trial production, testing, new energy battery PACK, mold factory, stamping, welding, painting and assembling of high-speed electric vehicles. The designed annual production capacity is 150,000 units. In April 2019, Jimai New Energy officially obtained the qualification for automotive production, and its first electric car was officially launched in April 2020.
